We have been learning how to write narratives. We have learnt that a good narrative needs to have a problem. We try to make sure that character tries a few strategies to solve their problem before it is resolved. Here is an amazing story written by Lucy:
Mum said, "Saffron pack your lunch box."
"Okay, Mum."
Esther sad, "I am hungry."
"No, Esther," said Mum.
After that Mum said, "It is time to go to school."
"I will get my lunch box," said Saffron.
When she went to get it, it was not there.
She looked in the pantry. It was not there.
She looked on the bench, but it was not there.
"Come on! We will be late for school," said Mum.
"I lost my lunch box!".
"I will help you."
They looked everywhere. Where can it be?
Suddenly Saffron heard a crunch. It came from Esther's room. She walked in and she saw Esther with her lunchbox eating her food.
"Mum, I found the monster eating my lunch."
"Is it Esther?"
"Yes, Mum."

Mindlab
On Monday we went to Mindlab. We had a team challenge of making all 4 light bulbs light up - we learnt how important cooperation is. We also used a Makey Makey machine, playdough, tin foil and wires to control a Space Invaders game. It was a really cool day!
